COMMENTS:
* Although no prints of this anthology feature have turned up,
one can surmise from the poster that it contained SANTA CLAUS & HIS HELPERS
(probably in its entirety), as well as clips from LITTLE BOY BLUE AND PANCHO,
LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD, THE PIED PIPER OF HAMELIN, and THE GOLDEN GOOSE.
* Curiously enough, Goodtimes Video released a title in the early 1990's called SANTA'S FANTASY FAIR, and although it was obviously a patchwork creation of their own, with video-generated titles, it did recreate this lost feature fairly well. They used footage from the original SANTA CLAUS instead of SANTA CLAUS & HIS HELPERS, which was understandable. However, their big boner was using a clip from the German Childhood Productions' PUSS N' BOOTS, instead of Murray's Mexican PUSS 'N BOOTS! Also, a clip from LITTLE BOY BLUE AND PANCHO was conspicously absent. Still, this is an interesting little Murray curio.
* We erroneously thought that another Murray fairy tale anthology feature, SANTA'S BIG FILM FESTIVAL OF THE BROTHERS GRIMM, was a re-titling of this film, when in fact the two films appear to be seperate releases, containing all-different material.
